I am very excited about our trip
to Cheer at a Texas State football game. You already filled out
permission slips for the district but attached are UCA waiver forms for those
conducting the clinic. Both the girls and adults with a “Coach” ticket
will need to fill out the waivers.
I need each girls t-shirt size
plus a t-shirt size for adults who are paying for “coach” tickets. Please
reply to this email with sizes.
We will wear our practice
uniforms with bows, shoes, and socks for the clinic portion. For the
game, we will change into the t-shirts they give us with black bottoms (shorts,
leggings, or the black warm up pants depending on the weather) plus our bows,
shoes, and socks. Girls will need to bring their cheer bag and their
poms.
Jos will wear her Magic the
Mustang costume during the game.
We learned half of the routine
yesterday at practice. We will need to add a practice to learn the second
half. So, 7th grade will practice after school on November 8,
and 8th grade will practice before school on November 9. If
your daughter will not be going to Texas State, she will not need to attend
that practice.
Girls should work on learning
and practicing the routine at home using the youtube links on this email and on
the Cheer Tryout 2016 Playlist on my youtube channel (MFMS Multimedia). I
have attached the music to this email and it is also on the Cheer Music Google

Please send your final payments
for the clinic ASAP! Most of you owe $20. If you are not sure how
much you owe, I will have my spreadsheet with me at the game tonight.
The pep rally for next week was
cancelled by Mr. Barr.

-Check-in will be from 10:00-10:30 and the clinic will

Tentative Schedule
10:30-12:30 - Clinic and rehearsal
12:30-1:30 - Lunch Break (This will be provided for
coaches/participants)
1:30 - Change into the Spirit Day Shirt and get ready
for pregame activities
2:00-3:00 - March in with the Bobcat Band to the
Stadium walking through fan zones
3:00 - Kick Off / Game (Halftime Performance, Strutter
Gallery for Dancers, etc)
6:00 - End
-You will be given your tickets, spectator tickets,
and Game Day Shirts at check in
-During the clinic we will be working on the material
so it is ready for the halftime performance. Cheerleader will also
be notified what quarter they will be cheering.
