***This is very important!  Please read!  If you are a parent, please make sure your daughter reads this.  Since there is not a class for cheerleading, I don’t see them every day and I cannot get this information to them without parent help.

Special – Since this week’s home games are on Tuesday, practice for this week will be on Thursday afternoon for 7^th grade and Friday morning for 8^th grade!

Monday, Sept. 26 – Spirit Day – Wear any purple and gold or your VB shirts!

Tuesday, Sept. 27 – Crazy Hair Day!  Wear complete Cheer Uniforms to school! Do your hair crazy and be leaders in school spirit!  Try to incorporate your bow into your crazy hair! For the game, all hair must be pulled back and not interfere with cheering or stunting.

Tuesday, Sept. 27 – Games at High School – Both Grades

We will ride the bus together to the high school at 4:30.  (That gives you 45 minutes to eat your snack, and do your homework in ACE.)  Meet at my classroom at 4:30.  We will leave at 4:35.  Both squads will cheer for both games.  The first game starts at 5:15 and the second game starts at 6:30.  If your parents are giving you a ride, please be at the high school stadium at 4:55.  Your parents will need to pick you up after the game from the High School Stadium!  Wear your complete uniform including socks, shoes, and bows.  Let’s look sharp!  You are also required to have a water bottle with you.  (Bring your own in case the water is late, you have some.)  Since you will be cheering for 2 games, you will get a quarter off to visit the concession stand.

Water/Gatorade at the Game:  Parents, if you can’t bring water or Gatorade on your assigned game, please find someone else to switch with you.  It has been in the high 90s and the girls need to stay hydrated.  If it continues to be this hot, we really need 2 bottles per girl at least.  8^th grade – please check with Apryl Randall apryl@boulettegolden.com for the schedule.  7^th grade please check with Tesha Tepper teshtepper@gmail.com for the schedule. 

Thursday, Sept. 29 – 7^th Grade Practice after school

Upcoming Special Events:

**We have a trailer for the Homecoming Parade on October 13!  Yea!  The plan is that both teams will cheer for both games, but leave & do the parade, and then come back to finish cheering the games.

**Saturday, November 12 – All Day- Cheer at Texas State in San Marcos. 

**Friday, November 18 – Christmas Light Up Parade in Marble Falls
